Bob Geldof (born 5 October 1951) is an Irish singer, songwriter, actor and political activist. Geldof was born in Dún Laoghaire, County Dublin.

Most famous for being the lead singer in the Boomtown Rats, his charity work with Live Aid for which he recieved a KBE.
