Seapoint Beach
Seapoint beach opens to the north consisting of sand and large rocks. The beach is shallow and flat. The area is suitable for swimming at high tide to the south of the beach, the sea covers some of the rocks, but the area is still shallow. Seapoint is a very popular location for swimmers to the north of the beach and for surfing, canoeing and jet skiing to the south. The beach is life guarded from June to August from 10.30-7

Portrane Beach
Portrane Beach is a 2km long sandy beach flanked by sand dunes. There is pedestrian access only to this beach, no vehicular traffic is allowed. Parking is provided. At the north end of the beach Rogerstown Estuary flows out and at the south end it is protected by a headland consisting of Tower Bay. There is a National Heritage Area to the north of this beach, a site of local importance; it has a large colony of migrating birds during the winter months.

This beach is lifeguarded from start of June to end of August 11-7. Portrane is located in north County Dublin and can be accessed by driving north on the M50 and taking the Donabate/Portrane exit. Follow the signs for Donabate, go through this town and follow signs for Portrane.

Killiney Beach
Killiney beach is a stony beach opening to the south 800m in length. The beach is sheltered and suitable for bathing and swimming. There is a gentle gradient on the beach that allows the water to graually get deep from the shore. The beach is accessed from the carpark via a walkway. Ramps and handrails also exist at other areas. The beach is lifeguarded form 1st June to 30th September 10.30-7. Facilities for disabled users are available.

Killiney beach is accessible via DART train from Dublin City. If travelling by car take the N11 south from Dublin and follow the signs to Killiney.

Donabate Beach
Donabate is situated in North County Dublin about 10 miles north of Dublin City with easy access from the M50 and M1 motorways. There are a number of pedestrian access points to the beach. Cars are permitted on a section of this beach which is 3.4 km long and sandy, consisting of a large sand dune area. Public toilets and a Lifeguard Station incorporating a first Aid Station are provided at the beach. Lifeguards are on duty daily from June-August 11-7
